HISTORY OF FRESH FIRE

The Fresh Fire Prayer Conference is a prophetic prayer gathering pioneered at Glory Light Tabernacle International F.G.F Guyana, located at 65 Prince William Street, Plaisance, East Coast Demerara. By divine wisdom and impartation of the Holy Spirit, through Apostle Shane and Prophetess Shellon Smith, the Fresh Fire Prayer Conference was conceptualized. The first gathering was launch on 23rd January 2023, under the theme "Divine Alignment". Glory Light Tabernacle has carried a strong mandate for prayer, intercession, and revival - fully embodying our Apostolic mandate and vision.

The 2nd Edition of the Fresh Fire Prayer Conference was launch on February 28, 2024, which brought 5 days of tremendous spiritual encounters and transformation, with the theme " The Rise Of The Warrior Church: Expansion, Enlargement", bolstering momentum to colonize new territories, spiritually and earthly. Fresh Fire was conceived as a set-apart time on the calendar to call believers, locally and internationally, back to their prayer altar, God’s presence, and a life of total surrender to Jesus Christ.

The conference continued to gain wider visibility with theme,  in 2025, "Taking New Territories: Possessing Your Possession". The 2025 conference featured dynamic sessions of worship, intense corporate prayer, prophetic ministry that focused on personal and corporate revival. Nightly services saw strong emphasis on the moving of the Holy Spirit, with attendees testifying to a tangible sense of God’s presence. 

Fresh Fire is spreading like wild fire, and has caused Godly men who carry HolyGhost fire and spiritual likeness to band together for divine prophetic, impartation, and to release of spiritual weapons for revival and victory. These prophetic and apostolic voices include Apostle Shane and Prophetess Shellon Smith (GLT Guyana), Apostle Timothy Mc Clean (Barbados), Apostle Kwame Wilson (BAMI), and Bishop Victor Collins Asabere (Good Shepherd Church), to name a few. Momentum increased, the saints desire of and understanding for holiness, prayer, and evangelism took on new heights and dimensions.

Fresh Fire Prayer Conference has grown!  It offers far more than just a series of meetings—it has become a spiritual landmark on the Glory Light Tabernacle calendar. Each year’s conference (and associated build-up activities, such as virtual promos, reels, and prayer initiatives) causes the flame of intercession to burn brightly within the church and community. The ongoing vision is that men, women, and young people will be ignited, equipped, and sent back to their homes, churches, schools, and nations carrying the “fresh fire” of the Holy Spirit for victory, revival, and advancement in every area of their lives.
